Sake Flavoured KitKat

Japan has been produced many kinds of flavoured KitKat, I've already introduced some of them as one of KitKat lovers.

This early Spring, Sake Flavoured KitKat is found in some convenient stores or somewhere.  And actually this tastes better than I expected. You may know "Sake Kasu" that is produced during Sake brewing process, this KitKat contain Sake Kasu and Sake, it can't be wrong.

So...if you are a fan of Sake and KitKat... then grab it!

Matcha chocolate Kappa Ebisen

Yamerarenai tomaranai... can't stop munching...

Kappa Ebisen is a Japanese shrimp snack that is loved by most of Japanese people (I believe)

This new one is coated by Matcha chocolate which gives quite complicated taste to the traditional snack - salty, sweet and bitter.

Well it lost its "can't stop" feature but you might want to try once at least.
Enjoy!

Matcha stuff is available mostly in the Autumn and the Winter, so why not to try!

DARS is one of my favourite chocolates. Usually I go for dark dars, but when I found this at a convenience store, I naturally picked it up from their shelf and bought.

Mochi chocolat

もちしょこら - rice cake with chocolate, maccha flavour.

It seems, Japanese confectioneries love to collaborate with maccha especially in this green season.

Ohhh, this post was sitting in the draft folder for ages I just rescued her. This tasted good :)

Dark rum chocolate

It is another snowy day in Tokyo, and I have found a chocolate that would fit the weather like today.

Once open the box, you'll detect the smell of rum, which 2.3% of alcohol contained. Don't drive a car after had this sweety.

Kyo-matcha chocolate / monaka

After a big typhoon, the weather turned to Autumn a little bit.
My regular commute to a convini earned a lot of Autumn flavour, chestnut, pumpkin  etc.
This matcha chocolate as well, covered with monaka skin, which is crispy and very light, inside is whipped matcha flavour chocolate.

I recall when I was a child I didn't like sweetend matcha drink, but you see, how gorgeous matcha flavoured chocs are!

Well I should not eat them a lot. It's Autumn and my apetizer just woke up to grab tasty foods.
Chao!

Snoopy x pocky

Pocky has been very much loved chocolate snack in Japan!
And I found this cute package!!!!

Backside is cuter, you can pull Snoopy's arms and hang them to the edge of your bag, bring it to everywhere. Surely cute, huh?

KitKat Big little - Salt & Caramel

This one is another funny stuff.

You can see this is a KitKat, but not in a usual shape. Also it is given a funny name [Big リトル] (Big little) WTF?!?!

Okay, the taste is as usual, a little bit fluffy than normal one. And salt and caramel flavour have been popular here.

Wanna repeat?  No.

Chocolates from Japan

Please have a look, new chocs from Japan!

1. Bireley's tirol chocolate.
You must know Bireley's - orange flavour beverage.

Tirol Chocolate combined Bireley's this with their tirol chocolate!!
This tastes just like an orange juice. Yum.

2. Koeda Ball.
Koeda chocolate is also famous, and has sort of long history here in Japan.
I don't remember when was the first time I ate Koeda...maybe ages ago.

Koeda means small branch, so its shape is usually like a branch.
But, Morinaga made Koeda into a ball shape this time, an easy to eat snacks.
Also texture seems a bit different from original Koeda, because Koeda Ball id more fluffy than original Koeda.

Anyway, try them :D
